Where Kids Play Like a CHAMP

Youth soccer and athletic development for ages 4-10

What is CHAMP Athletics?

CHAMP Athletics is a youth sports organization dedicated to creating fun, creative, and engaging activities for kids ages 4–10. Programs encourage children to get active outdoors in a positive Muslim environment, where faith and play go hand in hand.

Through outlets like soccer, the coach helps kids build confidence, develop a strong sense of identity, and learn the value of teamwork and community all while laying the foundation for lifelong physical activity, without compromising our Islamic values

Who do we serve?

Our Focus: CHAMP Athletics is designed for the recreational and competitive soccer player who wants to build skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a supportive, fun environment. The coach builds the kids up by focusing on encouraging them and instilling belief in themselves following the principle “It is not the size of the man in the fight, rather it is the size of the fight in the man”.

For Competitive Players: We can offer additional training times and tailored sessions for players seeking a more competitive experience. Right now players are primarily divided up by age but with time, players can be grouped by skill levels.

We all have busy schedules so coordinating the likes and interests of your children can be challenging. Therefore I make it more convenient by coming to you. Soccer training sessions take place at select parks around Dallas.

Our Values

Based on the five pillars from each letter in the word CHAMP. These are the guiding principles, objectives, and is the philosophy in which everything will be rooted in:

Character

First and foremost this athletic initiative will develop the character of the kids. The righteous have said knowledge will take one paradise, while good character will take one to God.

Hard work

The coach will work hard and create a great environment for all. Depending on the age of the kids, the concept of working hard and hustling will be taught.

Attitude

Participants are encouraged to bring a positive attitude, the coach will encourage kids to celebrate each other's accomplishments, and success will be measured by development so having a growth mindset is key.

Moments

Light bulb moments are when the kid gets it or they can be when a parent and their child share a moment on the field. The value of these moments can not be devalued because in these moments are where hearts align, senses are recognized, and growth occurs.

Principles

All of this will be done in a principled environment. Related to the Arabic word tarbiya, which means upbringing, teaching, and the development of one's manners, it really does take a village to raise a righteous individual. An environment that is built on the principles of faith will be where everything begins.
