The more you move, the better you feel!
Harakah Barakah is a special Ramadan youth athletics program to encourage not only the kids to get out and move but give the parents a chance to move as well. As the Arabic saying goes, “fil harakha barakah” (in movement there’s barakah).
Various activities will be organized for the kids such as athletic games and challenges, soccer, and/or basketball depending on the park. Each session will last for an hour giving the parents a chance to walk, read Quran, meet others and build community.
6 - 15 year olds
boy & girls
To ensure the best experience for every participant, kids will be grouped by age allowing for targeted and meaningful instruction.
Boys and girls above the age of 10 will be separated into different groups. To ensure an environment most pleasing to God and in line with our faith, the teachers of Coach Zakariya have recommended girls over the age of 10 to wear proper hijab.

Registration is required to attend. We need to know the breakdown of kids ahead of time to properly plan.
After you register, you’ll be added to a whatsapp group. Every week we’ll decide 24-48 hours ahead of time if we’ll have a session depending on weather. In order to have a session, the ‘feel like’ temperature needs to be above 50F and there is no rain.
No refunds unless the coach is notified 24 hours ahead of time. If you don’t show up and there was a session, there is no refund.
